American Business Development Group (ABDG) is pleased to announce Army Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Kent Moorhouse is joining ABDG as Director, Defense Automotive Division and will be the Senior Manager of ABDG’s efforts in our office in Sterling Heights, Michigan. LTC(R) Moorhouse brings more than 30 years of government and defense automotive industry experience to ABDG’s organization.
LTC(R) Moorhouse served 23 years as an Army Officer. Initially serving in the Infantry, he was later transitioned to the Defense Acquisition career field. His assignments included tours of duty in Acquisition Logistics, Government Contracting and Program Management. Most notably, he held key program integration and contracting leadership positions at the Defense Supply Center in Columbus, Ohio, and various program management positions at the Detroit Arsenal in Warren, Michigan. After transitioning from the Army, he became the Marketing Director for Ground Combat Vehicles for Elbit Systems of America. Just prior to joining ABDG, LTC(R) Moorhouse was President of Army Ground Vehicle Consultants LLC, providing Defense Program Management consulting services to commercial clients. Working in the Defense Industrial Base in both government and commercial roles for over 30 years, LTC(R) Moorhouse brings a wealth of Defense Acquisition experience to ABDG.
