Arlington, VA, November 23, 2010—John Domalski has joined ABDG as senior consultant for proposal support services effective immediately. Mr. Domalski brings 20 years of direct experience in managing, writing and reviewing major proposals to U.S. Department of Defense, other Federal Government and international military customers. This experience includes development of processes, tools and coaching techniques to facilitate completion of proposals in a timely, straightforward fashion; with minimal rework and stress.
Mr. Domalski has spent the past 36 years working either for the U.S. Government directly (within the intelligence community) or for companies seeking to do business with the Government. His last corporate position was with ITT Industries, Night Vision Division where he served as V.P. and Director, U.S. Government Marketing and Sales. While at ITT, Mr. Domalski was responsible for managing 10 major proposals representing a combined value of approximately $2 billion.
Following retirement from ITT in September 2005, Mr. Domalski has worked as an independent consultant specializing in providing proposal support services. Since then, Mr. Domalski has established relationships with six defense firms of various sizes, and has assisted them in submitting some 30 different proposals. Customers have included U.S. Army, Navy and Marine Corps, several DOD agencies, Department of Homeland Security, NASA, Treasury, GSA and the United Nations. Proposals ranged in size from several hundred thousand to several hundred million dollars. Services provided included management consulting, author coaching, competitive analysis, compliance review and writing of complete Past Performance and Quality Control volumes.
Mr. Domalski received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University and earned a Master’s degree in Aeronautics from the Air Force Institute of Technology.
