Daryl K. McCall Senior Consultant

Brigadier General (Retired) Daryl McCall is a Senior Consultant with American Business Development Group, an internationally respected, full-spectrum business development consulting firm, now representing a diverse list of over fifty prominent U.S. and international businesses. American Business Development Group enjoys a reputation as one of the largest business development firms in the United States which specializes in the re-equipping and modernization of the United States Armed Forces.

General McCall serves as a government relations consultant to a number of defense-oriented companies, providing advice on lobbying, business development and strategic planning. Daryl is an acknowledged expert in the fields of tactical field artillery and fire support, national security operations and policy, and force structuring and equipment modernization. He has eight years experience at senior DoD headquarters where he provided expert advice to senior officials on United States Armed Forces issues.

General McCall’s military career includes command through brigade level and staff assignments from unit level to Department of Army Staff. His military career culminated with his selection as the first Deputy Commanding General for Army National Guard Field Artillery. In this capacity he set priorities and provided oversight to equipment modernization programs for National Guard field artillery systems in excess of $100 billion. He was an active member and guided both the Army National Guard’s Field Artillery Advisory Committee and the National Guard Association’s Fire Support Task Force.

Beyond field artillery, General McCall is a recognized authority in Army budgeting, force structure and equipment modernization. He served as the Chief of Force Integration, Army National Guard during one of the most volatile times in the history of the Army National Guard. He orchestrated the largest restructuring effort of the Army National Guard since World War II. Later, he represented the Army National Guard during the first Quadrennial Defense Review.

General McCall serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the National Guard Association of the United States.  A native of Oklahoma, he earned both a Bachelor’s of Business Administration and an MBA with emphasis in Management from the University of Central Oklahoma and a graduate of The National War College.  He now resides in Kansas City, MO with his wife, Lisa.  They have four children.
