Kent Moorhouse, Director, Defense Automotive Division

Mr. Kent Moorhouse is the Vice President of the Defense Automotive Division for American Business Development Group, an internationally respected, full spectrum business development consulting firm, now representing a diverse list of over 50 prominent United States and international businesses. American Business Development Group enjoys a reputation as one of the largest business development firms in the United States which specializes in the re-equipping and modernization of the United States Armed Services. Prior to coming to ABDG, Mr. Moorhouse ran Ground Vehicle Consultants, whose clients included Gulfstream Aviation and Elbit Systems of America (ESA). Prior to that, Kent was the Director of Marketing at ESA, where he task-organized as Capture Lead and Proposal Manager to capture business stemming from Army acquisition programs.

Prior to his defense ground vehicle business development experience, Kent enjoyed a distinguished 23-year career in the United States Army, culminating as Product Manager for the Armored Security Vehicle (ASV), where he led a multifunctional defense acquisition team to incrementally design, manufacture, and field ASVs to troops deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Fielding occurred while simultaneously running 16 different Add-on-Armor sites in Iraq and Afghanistan on 1,300 fielded ASVs. Prior to that, Kent served as: Deputy Product Manager and Procurement Contracting Officer in the PM Stryker Brigade Combat Team (PM SBCT), Weapon System Support Manager Chief and Iraqi Cell Deputy Commander (DCDR) for the Defense Logistics Agency, DCDR Contingency Contracting XVIII Airborne Corps, 1st Infantry Division G4 Logistics Planner, 1st ID G4 Maint Chief, Support HHC Company Commander, and Desert Strom Infantry Platoon 1st Armored Division.

Mr. Moorhouse received his BS in Business Management-Marketing from Westfield State University and his MSA in General Administration from Central Michigan University. He is Defense Acquisition Career Level III Certified in the Program Management, Contracting, Systems Engineering, and level II certified in Acquisition Logistics.
