In 1977, Mr. Bennis’ career began with Xerox Corporation focusing on business development for the Federal Government followed by four years with a major telecommunications firm growing their client base. He was a pioneer in the introduction of video conference technology to the federal government. His unique ability to gain the confidence of partners afforded him the opportunity to work this market space with the major network providers; AT&T, US Sprint and MCI. His numerous successes included the installation of video conferencing equipment in the White House, on Capitol Hill, at the Army, Air Force, Navy, NSA, DIA as well as civilian agencies such as the SSA and the EPA. Most recently, Mike was part of a team of entrepreneurs who founded a company specializing in Lithium Ion technology. Customers include government agencies such as the Army, the Navy as well as commercial entities building the next generation of electric vehicles.
