American Business Development Group is pleased to announce that Colonel Clark Presnell has accepted the position of Director, Advanced Technology Programs. COL Presnell joins ABDG after having served over 30 years in the Army National Guard (ARNG), most recently as the G4, Deputy Chief of Staff for Installations, Logistics and Environment. As such, Colonel Presnell was the principal advisor to the ARNG leadership within the National Guard Bureau’s Army National Guard Directorate.
Colonel Presnell developed a world class G4 organization, while overseeing a total annual budget in excess of $2.9 billion which directly supported 5,416 ARNG units and 358,200 Soldiers. Responsibilities of the G4 included Logistics Planning & Programming, Budgeting, Depot Maintenance, Operations Tempo and Logistics Automation. Colonel Presnell was responsible for Military Construction, Base Realignment and Closure, Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization and Base Operating Support for the ARNG. Colonel Presnell was also responsible for how the ARNG and its activities impacted the environment, at times working with the EPA while being sensitive to cultural issues and our natural resources. Prior to his selection as the ARNG G4, Colonel Presnell was the Chief, Logistics Division, where he was responsible for the strategic planning of logistics programs, equipping, and sustaining all ARNG units and Soldiers, providing advice on Combat Service Support training and force structure while leading the planning, programming budgeting, and execution over the Future Years Defense Program for depot maintenance and OPTEMPO. During Colonel Presnell’s extensive service he also served as the Chief, Plans & Operations, ARNG Logistics Division and Director of Strategy & Business Transformation, Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology).
Colonel Presnell is a graduate of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces at the National Defense University where he earned a Master of Science Degree in National Resource Strategy and a Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain Management. Colonel Presnell is a graduate of the U.S. Army School of the Americas, Command and General Staff Officers Course at Fort Benning, GA. Colonel Presnell has been the recipient of many military commendations and awards including the Legion of Merit and the Meritorious Service Medal with Silver Oak Leaf Cluster.
