EnerSys®, the global leader in stored energy solutions, announces the availability of their Hawker MILPC Group 78 Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) AGM battery.
The MILPC G78 Part Number 0785-2026 is completely manufactured in the US at the EnerSys advanced manufacturing facility in Warrensburg, MO. This new product complements the EnerSys suite of tactical vehicle and generator batteries, including the ArmaSafe Plus™, as well as 10 additional MILPC AGM offerings designed to fit a variety of military applications.
The G78, with its 3/8” side only receptacle terminals design offers a superior form and function in the HMMWV Objective Gunner Protection Kits’ Battery Transverse Motorized Unit and any application where the side terminal/no top terminal footprint is required.
The G78 will provide 880 CCA; 300 cycles at 100% depth of discharge and 400 cycles at 80% depth of discharge. The G78 is ready for deployment to the field and can be ordered through the Federal Supply System via Part Number 0785-2026 and Cage Code 0WY95 until NSN assignment is completed.
